Being a parent and a child of a person who suffers from chronic pain due to Sickle Cell Anemia and Recognizing there are alternatives to modern medicine besides narcotics which could lead to addiction. 

We began researching different methodologies which brought us to the discovery of the medicinal benefits of the hemp plant, as well as cannabis. The passing of the Farm Bill Act in 2018 enabled us to turn that research into action. After visiting hemp farmers, processing plants, speaking with pharmacists, attending various trainings we decided to open our own CBD store we knew that we could provide the highest quality products for our consumers.

Our CEO is presently a pharmacy student at the University of Maryland pursuing a Masters degree in Medicinal Cannabis Science and Therapeutics, a program which is the first in the country. This program will further enable the Burning Bush to provide more in depth education on policy, regulation, 
therapeutics and scientific advancements.
